Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation
is who you are.
–Chinese Proverb
Beginning
at 9:00 a.m., your day is filled with educational lectures, interactive
activities, processes, reflection, and sharing. Typical seminar groups
number from 30 to 50, and you make new friends quickly and easily
using skills you can immediately apply in your life. Dress is casual
and comfortable.
Days are full and focused, and there is no wasted time. This is
a time to free yourself from your daily responsibilities and come
fully present for the seminar. You get more than your money’s worth!
During lectures many people take notes; handouts are provided for
all the material covered. Much of the time you are seated in chairs
for lectures or activities. At other times you are engaged in interactive
processes (appropriate regardless of physical condition or limitation).
You have a “working lunch,” a “working dinner” and numerous breaks
each day.
You hear things you’ve “always known” in new ways, and you have
plenty of “Aha!” moments. Peals of laughter, tears of release,
moments or hours of thoughtful reflection are all steps on the
path to clarity about purpose, meaning, enthusiasm, and the joy
of being alive. The seminar day ends about 9:00 p.m., and there
is usually some homework.
WINGS seminars are perfect for people like you, who are searching
for something more and eager to invest the time, work, and resources
into finding it.
